We’re all looking for ways to make our lives easier and there’s not too much wrong with taking the easy way out of responsibilities that have become tedious or overwhelming. Sometimes the easiest way to get something done is to have someone else do it for you. There are lots of people out there that have created businesses designed to make your life easier. Sandy Pike is one of those people and her business is cooking delicious meals and delivering them right to your door. She is a master chef and knows everything there is about managing a food service business but she needed someone to make things easier when it came to finding new customers. That’s why she asked me to create a brochure to highlight the service she offers. When I took on that project, I looked to her logo to make the design of the brochure easier for me. The Home Cuisine logo design featured a prominent circle and the colors green and purple. The circle is a most wonderful symbol with extensive meaning. Maybe it just represents a plate here, but it has come to represent wholeness, perfection, eternity and even God. For the brochure, I used the circle, even keeping the proportion of line from the logo, to frame the photos, callouts, and icons. I used the shape of the circle on the inside as a guide to position the three photos. Finally, the Home Cuisine logo made my color choice for the brochure easier too. Wouldn’t be great to make your life a little easier? Let Sandy Pike’s Home Cuisine deliver your meals (http://www.homecuisineonline.com) and me design your next brochure (http://www.moreschi.biz).
